I am particularly interested in researching/discussing the interaction between agriculture and climate, the impact that current climate change has had on our global food security/sustainability, and what solutions are currently being implemented to combat this change. Pittsburgh particularly has thriving urban agriculture development and currently has one of the largest urban farms in the nation, so I was interested in discussing this new development of urban agriculture and what implications or potential this has for sustainable farming in the future and this era of drastic climate change.
