At present my research interests include the following.

Using satellite Thermal Infrared (TIR) data from ASTER to observe volcanic process and detect activity. Then using this information to better predict potential natural disasters.
Combining orbital and airborne remote sensing to monitor changes in coastal geomorphology. Primarily, how coastal regions have evolved with rising sea levels and increased storm activity.
Developing new remote sensing techniques for improved observation on both earth and other planetary bodies.
